The service

EngineeringScore is a free website-audit tool operated by We Do Dev Work. It scans a website you provide and returns an automated score and improvement roadmap.

Informational results

Your Engineering Score and recommendations are automated, informational, and provided "as is." They are a helpful starting point, not a guarantee. You're responsible for deciding what to change on your own site.

Acceptable use

Only scan websites you own or are authorized to test. Don't use the tool to disrupt other sites, and don't attempt to abuse or overload the service.

No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and We Do Dev Work is not liable for decisions made based on its output.

The paid fix plan

From your report you can buy a fix plan for USD 19: a single markdown file containing one self-contained task for each check your site failed, in the report's priority order, with how to verify each one. It is a digital file, delivered immediately, for the one report it was bought for. There is no account and no subscription.

Before paying you tick a box at checkout. Ticking it is you expressly asking for immediate delivery, and acknowledging that you give up the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to a distance sale in the EU and the UK. We record the moment you gave that consent, together with the purchase, so both sides can see what was agreed and when.

We will still refund you in two cases, and you do not have to argue for either: if the file fails to download, or if it does not correspond to the report it was bought for. Email info@wedodevwork.com and we refund it. What we cannot offer is a refund on the grounds that you disagree with a recommendation or that acting on one did not produce the result you hoped for: the tasks are informational, exactly as the rest of the report is, and you decide what to change on your own site.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. See the privacy policy for what we keep about a purchase.
